Recognized for 21 consecutive years as State Champions, the LaBrecque family proved year-after-year in open competition, that their award winning recipes, attention to detail and proven techniques were consistent First Place (100+) and Best of Section (30) winners for pies, cakes, cookies, candies and breads.
To continue the family baking legacy, Elizabeth LaBrecque decided in 2022 to launch 3.14 Bakehouse in Clarksville, TN. 3.14 Bakehouse is a home-based boutique bakery specializing in made-to-order small batches. This enables the bakery to maintain the same high standards and champion quality on each baked good. Every baked good is hand-crafted and made from scratch from the freshest ingredients available.
Elizabeth started her baking activities as soon as she could stand on a chair at the table. A real “flour child”, learning her champion skills and techniques from her mother Violet LaBrecque. Violet is also a proven champion and was recognized in 1989 by Good Housekeeping Magazine as one of the top pie bakers in the nation. Violet was also featured in the Washington Post and other periodicals as a recognized baking champion for pies, cakes and cookies.
As the years progressed, Elizabeth began winning her own competitions as a First Place and Best of Section champion. As a consistent champion, Elizabeth was featured in numerous local and regional articles, the Washington Post-Food Section and the International publication “I want to be a Chef” by Stephanie Maize (1999).
The LaBrecque Family Baking Legacy
Elizabeth and her husband John moved to Clarksville, Tennessee in 2019. After settling in and learning more about middle Tennessee, they realized there was nowhere in Clarksville to buy an award-winning pie. Elizabeth had already been making available her award winning pies and cakes as gifts for her neighbors, friends and family and decided to take the next step and launch her own home-based boutique bakery.
3.14 Bakehouse was launched on March 14th of 2022 (Pie Day). Now you and your family can also enjoy the same award winning baked goods that the judges deemed First Place and Best of Section for 21 consecutive years.
